Historical data that refills itself

Go offline for an hour or a week: one call brings back every bar you missed, and a second brings every value a source corrected later.

Most market-data APIs give you history and leave the rest to you: notice the gap, work out what is missing, re-download it, and hope nothing was revised in the meantime. TILLA builds the recovery into the API.

The three calls

The free starter package does all three in one command and keeps a SQLite file current: python tilla_dashboard.py --keep tilla.db.

How far back

Why the values can be trusted

Every bar is labelled by its close, in UTC. A value a source never published stays empty; nothing is filled in or guessed. The 293,743 derived indicators are computed bar by bar from the raw values with no look-ahead, so a backtest sees only what was known at the time.

FAQ

How do I fill gaps after my bot was offline?

Call /v1/{tier}/resume/{layer}/{lane}?since= with the time of your last bar. It returns every bar since then in one streamed request.

What happens when an exchange corrects a number?

The corrected value appears in /v1/{tier}/changes. Apply those rows and your local copy matches the source again.

How far back does the history go?

Hourly crypto from 2017 and FX from 2002; each plan reaches back a set window - Free 30 days, Builder 6 months, Pro 1.5 years, Max the whole set.

Is there look-ahead in the indicators?

No. Every indicator is computed bar by bar from values that existed at that bar.
