Hi, I'm Colbie. I started building TILLA at 21, and I still build every part of it myself: the data pipeline, the API and this site.

How it started

I was building models to submit to Bittensor subnets for TAO, and I got good at the architecture behind them, the models and the bots that run them. When I went after Subnet 8, the hardest part wasn't the model. It was the data: meaningful data, aligned on one clock, with no leakage and no look-ahead, big enough to train on and still leave real out-of-sample history to test against. Nothing I could buy delivered that.

Why I built it instead of buying it

Every API I tried was expensive and incomplete. Nobody had the market movers that matter, crypto, stocks, FX, macro and a Bitcoin node of their own, all on one clock. So I built it, and the plan is simple: make it stronger every month as the company grows.

The work

I started on TILLA in the second half of 2025 and have worked 8 to 12 hour days on it since: backtesting, curating, and testing it again and again. The hardest problems were curation, alignment without leakage, going deep with our own Bitcoin node, speed and consistency. Since July 21, 2026 alone, that is more than 600 logged hours of building, on 80 of the 89 days.

What I'm proudest of

Speed and consistency. New bars reach you about five seconds after they close, and the system runs for weeks at a time without breaking its streak. Consistency comes first: the goal is years of uptime with only light maintenance.

What I promise you

Where it's going

Deeper data, more of it, and more licensing. In the next year I want TILLA's moat to double. I'm building it for TAO subnet miners, quants and model builders, anyone pushing market signals to their limit.

One last thing

I really appreciate any support. I've worked extremely hard for a long time to make the best product I can, and I'm proud of it. If you need something, reach me any of these ways. I read every one myself.
