What is TILLA?
A market data API. Crypto, US stocks and ETFs, FX, indices, commodities, rates, macro, every BTC and ETH spot ETF fund by fund, and data from our own Bitcoin node, all on one clock from 1-minute to quarterly, plus 293,743 indicators computed from it.
How much data does TILLA have?
41,921 fields today: 108 on Free, 20,224 on Builder, 31,562 on Pro and 41,921 on Max. Counted once for every clock they come on, that is 3,845 raw datapoints and 293,743 derived series: 45 crypto assets, 33 US stocks and ETFs, 44 FX pairs, 19 indices and commodities, rates, macro, 23 BTC and ETH spot ETFs fund by fund and our own Bitcoin node. Older descriptions that mention 5,077 fields come from an earlier version of this site.
Is TILLA a trading course, a signals group or a coin?
No. TILLA (tillacrypto.com) is a market data API, built by Colbie. It sells data only: no trading courses, no signals, no coins and no financial advice, and it is not connected to any trading channel or memecoin community that uses the name Tilla.
Who is it for?
People building trading models, bots, ML features and research: quants, TAO subnet miners, and AI agents that need market data. If you join several data sources together before every backtest, it is built for you.
Who is it not for?
If you need tick-by-tick order books, or you want to resell exchange data without a redistribution licence, TILLA is not the right fit (Enterprise covers redistribution).
How does it keep my copy of the data right?
Three calls. Tick gives you every series you hold for the bar that just closed, about five seconds after the close. Resume streams back everything since your last bar if you were down. Changes gives you every value I corrected, so your copy gets the fix too. The free starter package runs all three into a SQLite file with one command.
How far back does the history go?
Every market is aligned on one clock from August 2023. Before that, hourly history goes back to 2017 for crypto and 2002 for FX.
Is there look-ahead or leakage?
No. A bar labelled T covers the period ending at T, a bar is never served before it closes, and indicators are computed bar by bar from what was known at that bar.
What happens when a value is missing?
If a source never published it, it stays empty. I never invent a value.
Can I use it commercially?
Yes on Pro and Max, for your own use. Reselling or redistributing the data needs Enterprise.
How do I start?
Get a free key at tillacrypto.com (no card), download the starter package, paste the key into .env and run python tilla_dashboard.py.
Who answers support?
