Tables, coverage & calendar
Field names here are the literal names you pass to series= and receive back in series. The full list, searchable, is in the Data catalog; the exact set per plan is under Plans, and GET /v1/inventory lists exactly what your key holds.
Tables & cadences
Raw lives in tables — one per asset class and cadence. You never have to name a table: ask for series by name on the lane you want and the API finds them. GET /v1/inventory?layer=raw&lane=1min shows your series grouped by table. Every field's detail row in the Data catalog shows the table each of its datapoints lives in.

Coverage & integrity (inventories, 2026-09-19)
Measured facts, not estimates. Inventory counts are from 2026-10-11; first-observation and gap statistics are from the September column measurement.
| Metric | Value |

Why a datapoint starts after the floor. A series can't have history from before the thing it measures existed, so coins, tickers, ETFs, perps and CFTC contracts start at their launch. Two groups are short for our own reasons and are named rather than hidden:
- Market-wide aggregates, since 2026-02-13 —
btc_dominance,eth_dominance,crypto_mcap_total,crypto_mcap_change_24h,crypto_volume_total,crypto_active_coins,defi_mcap,defi_dominance,defi_volume_24h. The source keeps no history, so we hold what we captured. - Options volume, since 2026-07-10 —
btc_option_vol,eth_option_vol.

Naming
- Raw:
{asset}_{measure}—btc_close,eth_oi_usd,spy_vwap,sol_hl_funding. Series with no asset keep their own name —ust_10y,btc_blk_totalfee,stablecoin_usdt_flow. - A datapoint is
{cadence}:{field}—1min:btc_close,daily:btc_close. - Derived:
{base}_{formula}_{window}[_{anchor}]. Bar formulas use the asset as base (btc_ema_9,btc_rsi_14,btc_beta_30_spy,btc_cvd); single-series formulas use the full raw name (btc_fees_usd_z_30,btc_mempool_bytes_ema_9).
Market calendar — when a field is allowed to be flat
Every datapoint is classified by when its source actually trades. A flat value is only healthy when the market is genuinely closed.
| Class | Datapoints | Closes | A flat value means |
|---|---|---|---|
| 24/7 continuous | 2,219 | never | broken if flat — crypto, node, on-chain, DeFi, sentiment |
| US equity hours | 813 | nightly + weekends | OK overnight and weekends; stale in the US session = broken |
| FX, weekdays 24h | 704 | weekends only | OK Fri ~21:00 → Sun ~21:00 UTC; stale on a weekday = broken |
| Release-based | 108 | on release | judged by the expected release interval — macro, rates, COT |
US equity session ≈ 13:30–20:00 UTC. FX ≈ Sun 21:00 → Fri 21:00 UTC. Derived series inherit the calendar of their inputs.
Close nightly and on weekends. Equities, ETFs, the index and commodity proxies and the VIX family hold their last value overnight and all weekend: aapl, aapl_trade, aapl_volume, amzn, amzn_trade, amzn_volume, bito, bito_trade, cifr, cifr_trade, clsk, clsk_trade, clsk_volume, coinb, coinb_trade, coinb_volume, copper, corz, corz_trade, crcl, crcl_trade, dax, dia, dia_trade, dia_volume, dow, dxy, etha, etha_trade, etha_volume, eurostoxx, fbtc, fbtc_trade, ftse, gbtc, gbtc_trade, glxy, glxy_trade, gold, googl, googl_trade, googl_volume, hood, hood_trade, hsi, hut8, hut8_trade, hut8_volume, hyg, hyg_trade, ibit, ibit_trade, iren, iren_trade, iwm, iwm_trade, iwm_volume, kospi, mara, mara_trade, mara_volume, meta, meta_trade, meta_volume, msft, msft_trade, msft_volume, mstr, mstr_trade, mstr_volume, nasdaq, natgas, nikkei, nvda, nvda_trade, nvda_volume, oil, palladium, platinum, qqq, qqq_trade, qqq_volume, riot, riot_trade, riot_volume, russell2000, silver, skew, smh, smh_trade, sp500, spy, spy_trade, spy_volume, tlt, tlt_trade, tsla, tsla_trade, tsla_volume, uranium, vix, vix3m, vix9d, wulf, wulf_trade, xlk, xlk_trade, xlk_volume

How to pull only the fields you want
Pass a comma-separated series= list (or a * pattern, or markets= + fields=) to any window call. timestamp is always the first column and never listed.
